Reflection Hunters Contest - Beijing Reflections
This is my application for the contest Reflection Hunters Contest - SMARP (Show Me A Reflection Picture) ~ Round 254 🎺 Announcement by @olgavita
Last time, I promised to show you the reflections I caught in Beijing. Now I have to keep my promises.
On December 10th, I set foot on Chinese soil. Beijing greeted me kindly, but the five-hour time difference played a cruel joke on me. Of course, alcohol was also to blame, which helped me fall asleep after breakfast at the hotel for a few hours. I slept so soundly that after 2 hours, when I woke up, I was afraid that I was in Moscow and had overslept on the plane. It was funny.
Well, we got on the bus and went somewhere. It turned out that a bicycle rickshaw ride was waiting for us. And after that trip, a small incident happened. I walked away from our group for literally 5 minutes to catch the reflections in the pond, but when I turned back to the bicycle rickshaws, it turned out that my friends had already gone somewhere. What should I do? I do not speak Chinese, and I did not know the place where we were supposed to go. I decided to walk along the street to the bridge over the pond, wait 5-10 minutes, hoping that my friends would notice my absence. There was another problem - my phone's battery told me it would run out soon. What should I do? I kept thinking - if no one is looking for me, then I will go to the policeman, show my passport, and let them bring me to the hotel. After this thought, I decided that it was time to try calling my friends, but in China, we used a local Chinese eSIM. We conducted all communication through the Telegram messenger.
Everything ended successfully - the guys texted me, we talked and coordinated our actions.

It turned out that our guide led our group to draw hieroglyphs. This is called calligraphy, which is the art of beautiful and harmonious writing of signs, which is highly valued in East Asia (China, Japan, Korea) as a separate branch of fine art. In China, this is the art of writing hieroglyphs with ink and brush, which has its own styles and traditions.
But that's another story.

Why are there these paths on the water? I couldn't find an answer to this question.

The water in the reservoir is very clean and transparent. I tried to see the fish in the water, but there were none. But the underwater world looks very attractive and interesting.
I didn't take my camera with me on this walk. It was in the suitcase, but I couldn't remember where I put the suitcase key. Of course, I found the key and laughed at it, but at the moment I had an iPhone in my hands, with a 10% battery charge, I didn't know where my friends were, and I wanted to walk along the pond.

Nicely. Beautifully. What else can I say? I was overwhelmed by the feeling that I had entered an unreal world, a world that I could only see on TV.

My friends found me, and I went to draw hieroglyphs.
But I want to say that I did not show the reflection hunt in China for the very first time. I caught the first reflections at the airport. But I'll show you that next time.

Красота же! Вода такая прозрачная и тихая.
и ветра не было...
и думал, что 13 числа по такой красоте погуляем... но 12 числа пошел снег, что-то заминусило и прогулку отменили.
Красота какая!
