Permyak - salty ears
Greetings, friends.
Last week and Monday turned out to be very busy. My youngest daughter is graduating from high school this year and is preparing for university. To do this, she participates in various Olympiads to earn extra points on university entrance tests. Therefore, she was supposed to be in Perm on February 2. On the evening of February 1st, I took her to the train station to put her on the train. The train departs at 18:37, but at the station, we were greeted by the news that the train is late, as are other trains running from West to East through Kirov. The reason for the delay was not given.
About an hour later, I heard that a freight train had crashed, and 21 cars had derailed, which is why train traffic was stopped. I was at the station with my daughter until 12 at night. The station administration said that a new train was being organized from Kirov to Vladivostok, but we decided not to wait and go to Perm by car.
At one o'clock in the morning, we set off on a journey. My son-in-law was also with us to make it easier to go. The biggest problem on the road is snowfall and, of course, the desire to sleep. We had to arrive at the right place before 10 o'clock.
We arrived safely in Perm, and we spent almost an hour trying to find a place in a hotel near the Olympic venue.

Next to the hotel, there is one of the most popular art objects - a photographer who pointed his camera towards another art object - "Permyak - Salty Ears".
My daughter slept during the entire trip, and when we were already walking to the hotel from the car, she continued to sleep on the move.

At 2 p.m., I walked my daughter to the right lyceum, walked around the city for a while, bought food at Burger King, and returned to the hotel. I had my laptop with me, and I needed to work.
The photographer stood in his place even after dark. It looks amazing. The brain understands that this is not a real person, but it still feels like it is a person.

In Perm, the time relative to Kirov and Moscow is +2 hours. At about 20:00 local time, we packed up to go home. We decided to visit the Embankment again; we just had to go there and see the inscription "Happiness is just around the corner." When we got there, it started snowing heavily.

We found these words that wish everyone happiness. Now we can tell everyone that we really visited Perm.

We need to be in this place in the summer to walk along the embankment and slowly explore the local old houses, churches, and other attractions.
Perm is a city with a million inhabitants, but I have a strange feeling that it looks somewhat strange. I probably got the feeling because of the large amount of snow in the city, as if it were not a big city, but my small town.
Friends, do you see a small figure among the snow on the left?

In my Kirov, tourists need to find 7 kikimore figurines, in Kaliningrad 7 troll figurines, and in Perm, they probably need to look for similar bear figurines. This beast is the symbol of the city.
And the road was waiting for us again, with snowfall and frost. We were leaving Perm, and the thermometer showed -11 degrees, and when we arrived home at one o'clock in the morning, the thermometer was -24.
Well, it turned out to be a good adventure that lasted almost 24 hours and 1000 km. During this time, I managed to sleep for 30 minutes.

Greetings, @apnigrich! Beautiful life story.. You swallowed a letter in the word #photograhy. Are you hungry? 🙂
All the best!
😂😂😂
I got myself a new laptop for Christmas, a 14". My fingers haven't gotten used to the keyboard yet; it's smaller than the one I usually use.
But there is a big advantage - a high-quality screen matrix and a device that is convenient for mobility.
The monuments and architecture around there look very cool
Thank you for your comment, @namiks
