I welcome all my friends to this blog. I am participating in the contest in the Hive Learners community with a consistent attitude.
The journey I am going to share with you is from a few months ago when we left Lahore for Gilgit early in the morning. This journey was a bit long and tiring. We continued this journey for about 24 hours. We stopped somewhere along the way to have breakfast and a cup of tea with snacks to relieve the fatigue was enough as we were moving towards our destination.
Because our journey was from morning to evening and we were moving towards our destination, we had dinner in Naran, and further, we planned to stay overnight at Bata Kundi because it is not possible to travel at night in the mountains. We friends chatted for some time and then decided to get up early in the morning so that we could start our journey again. The high mountains and the river flowing towards the depth are unforgettable scenes. The next place from Bata Kundi, where we had to stop for some time, is Babu Sar Top. We had had breakfast earlier which we had done while leaving Bata Kundi. Now we had tea and samosas here, both of which were very delicious. We spent 15 to 20 minutes watching the snow lying on the top of the high mountain and then left for Gilgit. It was very cold in the month of August at Babu Sar Top which forced us to sit in the car within a few minutes. When we moved a little further at Chilas, it would be a journey of about 10 to 15 kilometers. It was extremely hot. We wanted to reach our desired destination without stopping. We stopped somewhere on the way and bought cold drinks and snacks to reduce the intensity of hunger and thirst. We had to reach Hunza and we reached there by evening. There, our friend Sher Alam welcomed us at his rest house, at whose rest house we were to stop.
The next day, we toured Minapan and the surrounding areas. I really liked the food here. This food is cooked in stone pots, which tastes very wonderful. After dishing it out, when you taste it, you forget all other foods. I am also a fan of food cooked in this stone pot.
During this time, a strange incident happened to us. When we were about to go to Skardu, one of our friends insisted on returning. Maybe he did not like the tour or was worried about the expenses that were being incurred on the tour. We were five friends in a car, in which one of my cousins was leading us. So we decided to go back. When we reached Islamabad from Gilgit, our intentions changed. We decided to send our fifth friend to Lahore by bus and we went to Murree and Nathia Gali. And that is what we did. We got our fifth friend on the bus, and we went to Nathia Gali. Most of the friends who have traveled to the northern areas know Murree and Nathia Gali very well.
The mountain journey is full of winding roads, high mountains, flowing rivers, green trees, sometimes greenery, and sometimes snow on the mountains. This scene is very charming. As soon as we reached Nathia Gali, the first thing I did was to have tea on the balcony of the hotel. After that, we decided to trek the four-kilometer Nathia Gali on foot. This trek is in the Ayubia National Park. It is also called the Pipeline Trek. After reaching this trek, we rode a chairlift. This was the first time for me. When I rode it, it rose hesitantly upwards in the air and we reached another valley, sometimes at very high altitudes and sometimes climbing the mountain peaks. As soon as we landed there, the clouds surrounded us from all sides. This was an unforgettable moment for me. We stayed there for a long time. After that, we returned to the trek via the chairlift. We also had dinner at Nathia Gali and spent some time in the market to see the splendor of its market. I kept walking around and even bought some things from there. I still remember these moments and will never forget them.
Now we are talking about the next trip. My friends and I are planning to visit Manimarg, Astore, Naltar Valley, and other places near Gilgit that we could not visit. Yesterday, my cousin called me and confirmed whether we were going or not. Please tell me the final details because he had to buy food etc. Eid is approaching. After Eid, we have to start our trip. When we are leaving for the trip, the markets will be closed. So, we should start shopping now. We may need warm clothes. We should wear sports joggers. We should have uppers to avoid the cold. For this, I have already started packing so that I do not miss anything. As I said, we are going to Manimarg for the first time.

There are beautiful Lakes and waterfalls. There is a walking track and beautiful valleys. After that, our program will be towards Naltar. There is a beautiful lake in Naltar called Satrangi Lake. We will see it. My focus is on natural beauty. We also intend to visit Khanjrab Pass. My other friends have visited there, but this is my first time going there. After that, we will also go to Minapan, where I will definitely eat my favorite food cooked in a stone pot once again. I will try to share a series of blogs from this travelogue with you. My intention is to present the culture, language, and traditions of that place to you.

Thank you
24 hours is a full day. That's a very long one. Food cooked on a stone path is the best if i may say. That's what my grandma always use to cook, and sometimes my mum used it to cook for me anytime i travel home to visit her.
I would also like to get to know these places, the people, the culture, maybe one day I will be able to make that trip.
waalaikumsalam, it's a very long journey, you spend 24 hours to get there
En buena compañía un viaje de 24 horas no se siente pesado. Lo que cuentas es un viaje encantador y me hubiera gustado ver fotos tuyas propias aunque sean de baja calidad. Saludos!
