Maturity Truly Lies Within Ourselves: Ladies of Hive Community Contest #258

Hello every ladies of hive. A pleasant greetings to all. Thank you @cautiva-30 for bringing this topic. The question goes "Aging is an obligation, maturity is a choice," Do you agree? Do you think aging is an obligation? Do you think maturity is optional.

Yes aging is an obligation, thus it is a biological process of our body but not by mind. There are many people i know that are aging by age but not by their heart, activity, and daily living. Here in our country Philippines there are still lots of senior people who are still enable to work. We may look old perhaps but that doesn't stop who we are, what we are capable and enable to do.

As for maturity, yes i also agree that it is optional. Even if you are still young you can have matured perceptions. As for me, i became a mother in my early twenties, i dont know any single idea on how to be a good mom. But maturity comes within me that sometimes you dont have to be a good and understanding mother as they expected you to be. I learn how to balance the daily tantrums, loud voices, crying and heavy days even i was still young.

Recently last month i experienced some health issues. I come and go on the nearest hospital to do some tests. Luckily it wasn't that serious but i inhibit it to myself that i need to take care of myself more often. Because as a mother, my first care goes to my family especially to my children. That picture i am sharing is what im drinking first thing in the morning and late at night. For my doctor advise me to do some herbal remedies. And it benefited me a lot.

So as we aged we became mature. But maturity truly lies beneath within ourselves. Thank you for reading. Until next time.
