✦ Valor en la nieve ✦

El valor se puede mostrar de mil formas, se puede expresar de mil maneras, no es solo estar en el frente en la línea fronteriza de las grandes batallas, no son solo los gestos heroicos, ni la imprudencia de no ser precavidos. A veces el valor simplemente se revela como florecen las flores: en los momentos más simples: cuando alguien se llena de coraje y de calor para enfrentar sus miedos, aunque estos miedos parezcan simples, es dar un paso adelante, a lo desconocido, es confiar en nosotros mismos.

El valor es una chispa que quiere convertirse en llama y busca transformar duda en acción, el temor en aprendizaje y la caída en el impulso para levantarse. El valor es una fuerza, y es invisible e intangible pero nos recuerda que no se necesita ser perfectos si no atrevernos a fracasar.

Nunca había esquiado... mi mayor temor era caer, y con caer los dolores y los huesos rotos en el frío, temía la vergüenza de fracasar en una actividad que para otros era normal. Pero sin miedo subí, arrasado por el frío y el temblor, por el silencio blanco aterrador. Bajé volando por el coraje y no por la técnica que era nula, el salto que se da con el alma más que con los pies.

El viento golpea el rostro que se llena de lágrimas y de la sangre que no sabía que el corazón era capaz de bombear, curvas de desafíos, resbalones para aprender. La montaña es la valentía hecha perfección, el descenso no es victoria es reconocimiento de miedo y de errores que pueden ser fatales.

Al final miras atrás y solo ves las huellas, estela brillante como la cola de un cometa, no hay rectitud ni limpieza, más bien serpenteante duda que conquista temores.

Una imagen puede despertar mil palabras pero te puede recordar que el valor no está en la cima si no en el ascenso y posterior caída.
