Pollution Is Everywhere We Are
It's so certain that the first thing that comes to mind when pollution is mentioned is a very dirty environment where the whole place is littered, smelling, so dirty and unbearable to live in but people still tends to live there like it's a normal place.
But to be realistic, pollution goes a long way beyond that, as it has to do with every daily activities of our lives. The slightest things of what we do, even when we live in a neat environment contributes to pollution which all ends up into the air we inhale.
You probably think you don't, but what about the thick smoke from your truck or car when driving it polluting the air with nitrogen oxides and many other(I'm sure there are many scientific names for them and they will always end with oxides). These volatile organic compounds that is emitted into the air because users or vehicle owners refuses to fix/change their vehicles contributes to polluting the air people inhale on a daily basis and from there and unnecessary virus or sickness starts and some English name for the virus or sickness scientifically pops out somewhere.
What about the gases emitted from planes from each airlines that we board? These compulsory activities that are bound to happen but in one way or the other pollutes the air and affects the climate is a very delicate issue which truly we may have no control over but can always find means of mitigation around it.
I remember a poultry close by to my parent's house, whenever the poultry wants to dispose the waste of the fowls, they dispose it within the community because they don't have a proper way of disposal and then leave the whole community to start smelling so bad that you find it so difficult to breathe.
How about some factories that has to emit their waste gases into the air and worst of it is that these factories are located within residential places.
There was a time the government declared the banning of all these one-time use disposable takeaway plates because of the way they are been disposed and they end up blocking the main drainages or canals that are originally meant for water to pass through. Citizens kept complaining all out on this but I think that was the best means the government think they could adopt to control the situation because the masses/consumers refuses to do the needful from their end.
Another angle is people trying to burn their waste themselves to avoid subscribing with the waste management officials. We kept on polluting the air with all these when the management in charge have other means of turning these waste into something else that would still be useful for other purposes.
In conclusion, untill we are mindful of our acts in our daily activities to reduce our contribution to pollution, there can't be a lasting solution to reducing/stopping pollution because the more party B is trying to control the situation, party A is causing more damage to the existing pollution.
Adequate measures should be put in place and we should be ready to follow them thoroughly by repairing or fixing our vehicles when needed, dispose our waste the appropriate way by having a proper dustbin and proper waste management, seek alternative means of discharging the waste from your factories or farmlands rather than directly releasing to the air and many more because after everything, they all tend to cause damage and harm to what we take in to survive as human.
An healthy environment and healthy atmosphere triggers a healthy life with a long life span.
I will be dropping my pen here about pollution as the weekly prompt from SciFi multiverse.

We People sef are the problems to ourselves because our brain will tell us it's wrong but we would still do it and still be causing harm . Omo we don't try at all
Exactly the problem. We know it is wrong but still we chose to do the wrong thing
And that's just makes things very worst
Very worst because it is even fair when you don't know it is wrong or harmful but what do we call it when you know it
True it's well sha, God help us
Reducing how much pollution hits the environment is something we all have to come together and make happen, it's not something one man can do..
Exactly... It's a collective effort
Thanks for your contribution
Most people underestimate the advantage of a healthy environment, it is really important to be observant of all this pollution
Very observant and until we realize that, there can't be a lasting solution
You are right we all contribute in pollution in one way or the other and we all have a lot to do to curtail it.
Exactly. A lot to do together and not partially to the government alone because we're all involved
Absolutely
Thanks for your contribution @ozd
Omo! I almost screamed when I saw all the pictures you used on this post, talk of a perfect illustration of the pollution we see everyday and everywhere.
We really need to be more conscious of having a healthy environment so we can live longer and better. Well written @afrikens
The consciousness of having a healthy environment is very important and I really hope we humans get it right.
Thanks for your compliments and contribution @merit.ahama 🥰
You're welcome 😊
You've said it All, we ourselves need to wise up and do what is right it may not affect the health now but in future it will.
It will even affect it now and in future. Thanks for your contribution @hamokstitches
My dear, your images have said it all.
For real, pollution is everywhere we are. I think the main priority of everyone it to ensure the rate of pollution reduces and eventually stop....
The rate at which pollution is affecting humans Health is alarming...
