Hi everyone, I'm @adyma and I welcome you all to another exciting week. It's Vibes Web3 Music Competition week #41 and I'm so happy to be part of this week's event. With so much gratitude, I thank @lordbutterfly @verbal-d, @vibes-voter, @vibes-curator and other members of @vibes community for their sacrifice to make vibes an outstanding one.

For week #41, I will be singing a song titled “Bless the Lord oh my soul” it is a heartfelt expression of gratitude and worship towards God for His saving power and unending love. In the lyrics, the songwriter reflects on the person of Christ, describing Him as the Son of Man, the Son of Righteousness, and the King of the earth who was slain for sinners. This emphasizes the sacrificial love of Jesus, who gave His life to rescue humanity from the bondage of sin. The phrase “I was lost, in darkness bound” directly connects to the theme of the darkness. Darkness here represents separation from God, a state of confusion, hopelessness, and bondage to sin. It symbolizes the struggles and emptiness of life without divine light and guidance.

However, the turning point comes with redemption: “You ransomed my heart and I will sing.” This highlights that through Christ’s sacrifice, the songwriter was delivered from the darkness into light. Blessing the Lord with one’s soul is therefore not just an act of worship but a response to being set free from despair and hopelessness. By acknowledging God as strength, deliverer, and redeemer, the soul testifies that divine love overcomes every form of darkness.

Song lyrics

Verse 1]
Son of man
Son of righteousness
King of the earth
For sinners slain
I was lost
In darkness bound
You ransomed my heart
And I will sing

[Verse 1]
Son of man (Son of man)
Son of righteousness
King of the earth
For sinners slain
I was lost
In darkness bound
You ransomed my heart
And I will sing

[Pre-Chorus]
My strength
My deliverer
The one who rescued me
My hope
My redeemer
Your love has set me free

[Chorus]
Bless the Lord
Oh my soul
Bless the Lord
Oh my soul
Bless the Lord
Oh my soul
Bless the Lord
Oh my soul
