Small and to my liking/ LOH #255

Owning your own home is a dream we all have. There's nothing like the peace of mind that comes with knowing that the roof under which you sleep is yours. For some, that dream has been achieved, for others it's totally different, But without a doubt, if the opportunity to buy a house arose, I think I would opt for a combination of the two options presented in the Ladies of Hive Community Contest #255.

I would choose a small house that I could remodel to my liking. The reasons for this are as follows: I have visited newly remodeled houses, and for their owners or the person who remodeled them, they are perfect because they are to their liking, but for me there will always be one or more details that I would like to change. I would also like a small house because I find it more cozy and there is less to clean.

I am completely sure that this happens to all of us. I like the color pink, as well as gray, green, blue, among others, but I am sure that others do not, and for some time now I have enjoyed looking at decorations, whether in photos or videos on different social networks, and this gives me decorating ideas for my current home, so imagine if I could buy a small house and remodel it to my liking.

One of the central points of any home is the kitchen, and although I'm not the one who cooks the most at home, I would love to have a beautiful and, above all, functional kitchen. In fact, mine needs some urgent adjustments, and I have some ideas in mind.

Another important part of the home is the bathroom or bathrooms, and that's another space that I want to have to my liking as well. In many houses, even when they have been recently remodeled, I don't like them.

Being able to remodel and decorate a space to my liking is something I love, whether it takes a long time or a short time. Seeing how the process yields the expected result, it may even happen that after doing the math, we opt for other options, obtaining a result that is not exactly what we had in mind, but one that we end up falling in love with.

Our home is our temple, and having everything inside it match our tastes is something that will undoubtedly bring us comfort and joy. For example, as I mentioned, I love the color gray, so I imagine a kitchen with walls in that shade and light wood cabinets, let's say maple. I have seen combinations in these tones and it really looks very nice. In fact, in my current kitchen, I have thought about covering the ceramic tiles with microcement. I have researched it and I can clean it as easily as I do with ceramic tiles, so I would not have to do any construction work. The cabinets are made of wood and are in good condition. With a change of Formica and a few touch-ups, they would look like new.

Finally, I believe that we all deserve a home of our own, whether it's an apartment or a house, and that space should be decorated and/or remodeled to our liking so that we feel completely comfortable and happy in that space, especially knowing that our effort and dedication was present in every detail.

Tener casa propia, es sueño que todos tenemos, nada como la tranquilidad de saber que el techo bajo el cual duermes es tuyo, para algunos ese sueño ha sido logrado, para otros es totalmente diferente, pero sin duda si se presentara la oportunidad para adquirir una casa creo que optaría por una opción que sería una mezcla ente las dos que nos plantea Ladies of Hive Community Contest #255

Yo elegiría una casa pequeña, pero que pudiera remodelar a mi gusto, los motivos para ellos son los siguientes, he visitado casas recién remodeladas, para sus dueños o el que las remodeló, están perfectas, pues están a su gusto, pero para mí siempre habrá un detalle o más de uno que yo desee diferente, además me gustaría una casa pequeña porque la siento más acogedora y menos que limpiar.

Estoy completamente segura de que esto nos ocurre a todos, a mí me gusta el color rosa, también el gris, verde, azul entre otros, pero estoy segura de que a otros no y desde hace un tiempo disfruto de ver decoraciones ya sea en fotos o videos de decoraciones en diferentes redes sociales y esto me da ideas de decoración para mi actual hogar, así que imaginen si yo pudiera comprar una casita y remodelara a mi gusto.

Uno de los puntos centrales de toda casa es la cocina y, aunque yo no soy la que más cocina en casa, me encantaría tener una cocina hermosa y sobre todo funcional. De hecho, la mía necesita algunos ajustes urgentes, y tengo algunas ideas en mente.

Otro punto de las casas que es importante es el baño o baños y ese es otro espacio que deseo tener también a mi gusto. En muchas casas, aun cuando estén recientemente remodelados, no me gustan.

Poder remodelar y decorar un espacio a mi gusto es algo que amo, sea que tome mucho o poco tiempo, el ver como el proceso da un resultado esperado, incluso puede ocurrir que tras sacar cuentas se opte por otras opciones obteniendo un resultado que no precisamente es el que teníamos en mente, pero cuyo resultado nos termine enamorando.

El hogar es nuestro templo y que todo lo que esté allí adentro sea acorde con nuestros gustos es algo que sin duda nos brindara confort y alegría, por ejemplo como mencione amo el color gris, así que me imagino una cocina con paredes en ese tono y los gabinetes en color madrera clara, digamos que maple, he visto combinaciones en estos tonos y la verdad luce muy bonito de hecho en mi cocina actual he pensado en cubrir la cerámica con micro cemento, he investigado y puedo limpiarla tan fácilmente como lo hago con la cerámica así que no tendría que entrar en obra, los gabinetes son de madera y están en buen estado con un cambio de formica y algunos retoques quedarían como nuevos.

Para finalizar, creo que todos merecemos una casa, propia, sea un departamento o casa y ese espacio debería estar decorado y/o remodelado nuestro gusto para que nos sintamos completamente cómodos y felices en ese espacio y más al saber que nuestro esfuerzo y dedicación estuvo presente en cada detalle.
