If I were reincarnated/ LOH #242

On many occasions, we have thought about and even talked with friends about how great it would be to go back a few years in time, but knowing everything we know today, the intention is not to repeat mistakes and not to miss out on certain opportunities. But I think sometimes it's also good not to know.

Now, if instead of going back a few years in the past, a mystical and powerful being offered me the opportunity to reincarnate, but gave me a choice between two options: the first, to keep the memories of my past life, but without meeting the same people again. The second option is to forget everything, but to find the same people around me reincarnated, just like you. I would definitely choose the second option.

There are several reasons why I would choose the second option, which I will explain below. I am convinced that the woman I am today is the result of everything I have experienced up to this day, and that includes each and every one of my experiences and the people I have interacted with, starting with my family.

I am immensely grateful for the mother and grandmother I had, two admirable women who taught me and instilled principles and values in me until the end, encouraged and supported me to study, and supported me until their last day on earth.

On the other hand, each and every one of the pleasant and not-so-pleasant experiences I had alone or with friends, classmates, teachers, professors, and each and every one of the people I shared my life with—some of which were pleasant and others not so much—but thanks to the contact and interaction with those people who crossed my path, I learned something or decided not to be a certain way. I also have my son, and thanks to all of this, my character was forged. I know that if I didn't remember anything, I might make the same decisions, or perhaps I would make some different ones, but I feel that I have had good times and wonderful people around me.

For all of the above reasons, I would like to go back to being who I am, or very similar, if I had the chance, and for that I think I should surround myself with the same people. I know that for everyone, or for the vast majority, their mother is the best, and I had the privilege of having two wonderful women by my side who gave me so much. I had and still have very good friends, the kind who are true and unconditional, and you know it because they speak the truth and seek to correct and advise you when you need it, the kind who are there when everyone else runs away in bad times.

If there is one person I want back in my life, it is my son. I am a single mother. It was a difficult time when I found out I was pregnant and then saw how his father washed his hands of us both, but having my son changed me completely and gave me incredible strength, and that is something I am grateful for about motherhood.

In closing, if I had to choose, I would definitely choose to forget everything, but find the same people around me reincarnated, if my participation in Ladies of Hive Community Contest #242 ends.

En muchas ocasiones hemos pensado y hasta conversado con amigos y hemos pensado en lo genial que sería volver unos años en el tiempo, pero sabiendo todo lo que sabemos hoy en día, la intención es no repetir errores y no dejar pasar algunas oportunidades. Pero creo que a veces también es bueno no saber.

Ahora bien, si en lugar de volver algunos años en el pasado, un ser místico y poderoso me ofreciera la oportunidad de reencarnarte, pero dándome a elegir entre dos opciones: la primera conservar los recuerdos de mi vida pasada, pero sin volver a encontrarte con las mismas personas. La segunda opción es olvidar todo, pero encontrar a las mismas personas a mi alrededor reencarnadas, igual que tú. Yo elegiría sin duda la segunda

Las razones por las que elegiría la segunda son varias y se las explico a continuación, estoy convencida de que la mujer que soy hoy en día es el resultado de todo lo que he vivido hasta este día, y eso implica todas y cada una de las experiencias que viví y eso involucra las personas con las que me relacione, para comenzar está mi familia.

Estoy inmensamente agradecida por la madre y abuela que tuve dos mujeres admirables que me enseñaron y sembraron en mí principios y valores hasta el final, me animaron y apoyaron para estudiar y me apoyaron hasta su último día en la tierra.

Por otra parte, todas y cada una de las experiencias gratas y no tan gratas que viví a solas o junto a amigos, compañeros, maestros, profesores y todos y cada una de las personas con las que compartí y que fueron como ya mencione unas agradables otras no tanto, pero gracias al roce y trato de esas personas que se cruzaron en mi vida aprendí algo o decidí no ser de determinadas forma, también tengo a mi hijo, y gracias a todo ello se forjó mi carácter, sé que al no recordar nada podría tomar las mismas decisiones, para tal vez tome algunas diferentes, pero siento que he tenido momentos buenos y personas maravillosas a mi alrededor.

Por todo lo anterior me gustaría volver a ser como soy o bastante parecida si tuviera la oportunidad, y para ellos creo debería rodearme de las mismas personas, sé que para todos o para la gran mayoría su madre es la mejor y yo tuve el privilegio de tener junto a mí dos mujeres maravillosas que tanto me dejaron, tuve y tengo muy buenos amigos de esos que son de verdad e incondicionales y lo sabes porque te hablan con la verdad y buscan corregirte y aconsejarte cuando lo necesitas, de los que están allí cuando todos los demás se van corriendo en las malas.

Si alguien deseo de nuevo en mi vida es a mi hijo. Soy madre soltera, fue un momento duro el de descubrirme embaraza y luego ver como su padre se desentendía de los dos, pero el tener a mi hijo me cambió por completo y me dio una fuerza increíble y eso es algo que agradezco de la maternidad.

Terminando, si tuviera que elegir, sin duda elegiría olvidar todo, pero encontrar a las mismas personas a mi alrededor reencarnadas, si termina mi participación en Ladies of Hive Community Contest #242
